Spoonflower Design Challenge: East Fork Butter & Piglet

​This week's Spoonflower Design Challenge is a collaboration with the beautiful pottery company East Fork. Their latest pottery glazes are a pastel pink (Piglet) and a soft yellow (Butter).

​The designs were required to include the two hex colors for Butter & Piglet and be designed with the end goal of being table linens (think table cloth, napkins, etc).

The colors felt so springy that I decided to go with a small illustrated floral design. 

​The design features several East Fork Pottery pieces used as vases for fresh cut flowers (and succulents). Just to be cheeky, I added a motif of a stick of butter along with a swirly piglet tail. ;) 

I think the design turned out really cute. Sized down a bit from the challenge entry, it looks adorable on the tableware!
